What is This?!
This is a submissions page for fellow creatives. You can submit your own original work to add to the Den’s collection for readers! All work submitted by fellow writers will be linked to your socials in the way that you choose. And before you ask, yes, you can also submit anonymously.
Alongside that vein, you can also submit works that you want feedback on! You can ask for feedback from me directly, or from the whole community, and you can even specify how you want it done!
First, there’s just a few rules I need you to take a look at.
Rules for submissions
- All submissions must have a way I can connect with you – even if you want to remain anonymous. I will not post this information, but I still require it with all submissions.
- Specify all possible trigger warnings/content warnings.
- Ensure your work is fully edited and ready to post before submitting. (Pieces submitted for feedback are an obvious exception, as this may be what you’re needing help with and we completely understand!)
- Understand that you will be filling out a form for submission, please ensure that your provided information is correct and clear.
- If you want your work posted anonymously or if you are submitting for feedback, please state this clearly in the form below.
- Word Count Limit: For now, it’s not distinctly set, because I’m naturally long winded myself. However, please refrain from submitting an entire novel.
Items Not Accepted
- Pieces with misleading/harmful information about a minority, mental illness, disability, or any topic that has plentiful research options available to be written about properly.
- Pieces with excessive violence.
- Pieces that have any form of sexual abuse (I know that I sometimes write this topic myself, but I claim full responsibility for those stories. I won’t accept responsibility for yours)
- Erotic pieces. (We all love spicy stuff, but posting it outside of fanfictions on AO3 makes me uncomfy)
- Pieces that are unedited and lack proper spelling/grammar. I am not editing any pieces submitted for publication to the den.
- Pieces submitted without all the required information.
Disclaimers
- I reserve the right to decline any submitted pieces (including those for feedback) by any grounds, though the rules above can act as a guide for submitters to ensure your piece is more likely to be accepted.
- In cases of violent content: I reserve the right to decide on a case by case basis what constitutes as excessive.
- I reserve the right to remove any written work from my den, including submitted works, without notice or explanations, though inquiries will always be accepted if you feel inclined.
- I will not claim rights over any written work that is not my own. This is simply a place to gather creative pieces and allow other creators to post works.
- I reserve the right to moderate comments on all posts, including submitted works, to ensure a safe and healthy community.
